This breathtaking XK 140 MC Roadster is an original matching numbers, MC specification car, restored & upgraded to the outstanding specification that it boasts today.
This car features twin SU H8 2″ carburettors and the optional Factory-fitted C Type cylinder head, and it is believed that just 151 left hand drive cars were built to this specification. Producing a very healthy 210 bhp @ 5,750 rpm, this quick XK 140 features heavier torsion bars & twin exhaust pipes, and these cars were known as SE specification in the domestic market. This beautiful car has undergone a total ground-up restoration and benefits from some discreetly incorporated improvements to offering enhanced performance, safety and convenience.
The Burr Walnut dash is quite exquisite and complements the red leather upholstery perfectly. The Mirror Black exterior paint is simply fabulous and the car features the correct period black 72 spoke wire wheels & a black mohair hood. This car was first delivered to Brooklyn, New York, in May 1955, and today it is fully certified by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.
