Jaguar 3.8 Mark 2 Manual 1963
One owner for the last 40 years – a time warp car.
Just arrived in stunning original unrestored condition! Currently going through our workshops for sympathetic mechanical re-commissioning. Offered for sale fully serviced, freshly MOT’d and set up for modern unleaded fuels on the dyno.
This car has spent some of its extremely interesting life as a daily driver in Munich, Germany, and is uniquely fitted with a sump/engine oil pre-warmer for dealing with sub zero temperatures.
In original Gunmetal Grey with wonderfully patinated ox-blood leather, the car is a truly special example of possibly one of the most highly rated saloon cars to come out of the 1960’s era. It comes with a Les Leston special edition steering wheel.
This car has an absolutely unique history! Possibly colourful in the extreme and the history file includes the fabulous original period buff log book.
The car has possibly uniquely low mileage, verified by an MOT in the history file showing just 13,153 in 1978.
Today the car has completed just 16,336 miles and the fabulous history file confirms only very occasional use during prolonged periods of careful storage.
This is an opportunity to acquire possibly one of the most original and well-preserved 3.8 Mk II’s to come to the market for many years.
We welcome viewings at our premises here in Suffolk at anytime via an appointment so please do not hesitate to contact us.
